Olan Corley


Olan George Corley, 79, of Payson, died July 31, 2001 in Globe. He was born June 28, 1922, in McLoud, Okla.

Mr. Corley was in the United States Navy during World War II and was in the Pacific Fleet. He was an educator, missionary to Guadalajara, Mexico, and assistant pastor to senior adults at First Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Oneta Corley of Payson; two sons, Robert O, Corley of Globe and Ted L. Corley of Glendale; two sisters, Ruby Dewbre of Oklahoma and Dorothy Palmer of Texas; one brother, Bill Corley of Manteca, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild,

Services were held Friday, Aug. 3 at First Southern Baptist Church,

Interment was at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.

Donations may be made to Food Ministry at First Southern Baptist Church, 302 S. Ash St., Payson, AZ. 85541.

Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
