Hospice Auction - Not Your Garden Variety Benefit

Celebrate harvest time in the Rim country at the Rim Country Hospice Foundation's annual dinner, auction and dance, Sept. 29 at 511 South Mud Springs Road.

This year's theme A Garden Party recognizes the supporters and businesses whose dedicated efforts have helped the Hospice Foundation reach its goal of building the Rim country's first hospice house. While there's still a long way to go before the first patient arrives, supporters will have a chance to see the fruits of their labor by attending this party on the Foundation's new 5-acre parcel north of Frontier Elementary School.

"What more perfect setting to hold this magical evening than on our property you have helped us obtain?" Kathleen Hughes, foundation treasurer, asked. "Under a big top with fresh air, good food and great friends, this promises to be a magnificent evening."

The "magical evening" Hughes refers to begins at 5 p.m., with cocktails and the silent auction. It then segues into a gourmet dinner, followed by feverish auction action. The event wraps with live music and dancing.

Ticket prices for the gala event are $75 each. Sponsorship tables for 10 are available at $750 and $1,000. All proceeds benefit the Rim Country Hospice Foundation in its goal to build a Hospice House.

For ticket information or to make a donation, contact Hughes at 472-8220.
