Yes, Payson Is Changing

Thursday, Aug. 16, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., someone parked at the stop sign on Rancho Road and Beeline Highway, took approximately 10 to 15 minutes and stole two church signs from that corner.

One was an expensive metal sign; the other a wooden sign.

If someone will stop in broad daylight, with cars passing by, being in plain view and steal from God, what or who will they steal from next?

Payson didn't used to have problems like this, so I guess we have grown up.

If anyone saw this theft, or knows who needed God's signs more than God did, a note sent to the Church of the Holy Nativity, 1414 N. Easy Street, would help.

Father Jim Stewart, Payson
