Thelma K. Wright, 89, a former resident of Globe and Miami, died Dec. 6, 2001 in Payson. She was born May 27, 1912 in Douglas, Arizona to John and Josephine Kelly.

Thelma was a retired school bus driver for the Hayden/Winkelman school district, where she worked for many years.

Survivors include one sister, Loraine Stricklin; one daughter-in-law, Velma Wright; one granddaughter, Sharon Basset and her husband, Bruce; one grandson, Larry A.Wright and his wife, Frances; great-grandchildren, Tammy Jones and her husband Marvin, Susan Welker and her husband Jim, Larry A. Wright, Jr. and his wife Mikki, Shauna Salcido, Laurie Brazo, Randy Wright, Jr, Joe Basset; great-great grandchildren Chris, Brittany, Courtney, Brinton, Dylan, Kerriann, Chole, Rodney Jr., Shanissa and Bryan Jr,; and two nieces, Bobbi and Judy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolby H. Wright of Dripping Springs, and her son Alden L. Wright, past resident of Globe.

Her family would like to invite you to join us in a celebration of her life, during a memorial service to be held at 1:00 p.m. Dec. 14 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 913 South Ponderosa Street, Payson, Arizona.
