Parade Hopefully A New Tradition

This past Saturday night, a large hometown crowd viewed the first Electric Light Parade in Payson. It was a huge success, and hopefully will become a Main Street annual event for many years to come.

A big thank-you to the Town's Main Street Coordinator, Karen Greenspoon, the Main Street Board of Directors, the many volunteers who helped put on the event, and finally the parade entries who worked so hard to give us such a memorable evening.

Also a special thank-you to APS, a major sponsor of the parade. Following the Parade, a big crowd gathered around the museum for the lighting of the Town Christmas tree and music put on by several groups. And they even got a free tour of the Rim Country Museum.

The whole evening was just another reason why Payson is such a great place to live.
