Cecelia M. Salwitz, 89, of Payson, died Dec. 14, 2001, in Payson. She was born May 23, 1912, in Toledo, Ohio.
Mrs. Salwitz was a homemaker. She was a member of the hospital auxiliary and worked for 18 years as a salesperson at Distinctive Costumes in Toledo, Ohio.
Survivors include two sons, Michael and his wife Georgia Salwitz of Payson, and Walter and his wife Debra Salwitz of San Francisco, Calif.; one daughter, Mary and her husband, Jon Henry of Phoenix; six grandchildren, Michelle Beyer of Chandler, Seana Middleton of Phoenix, Brooke Henry of Phoenix, Sarah Salwitz of Phoenix, Robbin Hastings of Seattle, Wash. and Joseph John Salwitz of San Francisco, Calif.; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Salwitz in 1991, and one grandson, Benjamin Henry in 1989.
Visitation and Rosary and was held Monday, Dec. 17 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
Funeral mass was held Monday, Dec. 17 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
Interment was at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
