Carlton S. Anderson, 86, of Payson, died Dec. 18, 2001, in Payson. He was born March 14, 1915, in Kandiyohi, Minn.

Mr. Anderson married Elaine in April 1939. He was a World War II veteran. He was in the tire and oil business in Willmar, Minn until 1958. They moved to Scottsdale and he was a manager supervisor for Circle K Corporation until 1978 when he retired. After a year of retirement, he sold real estate for Century 21, and retired from there in 1985.

Survivors include four sons, Bill Anderson and his wife Bonnie of Crystal Lake, Ill., Barry Anderson of Chandler, Brad Anderson of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bob Anderson of Anthem, Ariz.; one daughter, Meme Heflin and her husband, Kenny of Payson; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances "Elaine," one son Michael Anderson, and granddaughter, Katie Anderson.

Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 20.

Services were held Friday, Dec. 21 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment was at Pioneer Cemetery.
