Emma Marie Connor, 80, of Show Low, died Dec. 20, 2001, in Show Low. She was born in Jayton, Texas.
Mrs. Connor moved to Yuma at age 17 where she met Leonard. They lived in Arizona and California. She worked as a waitress/hostess for many years, and retired for the Downtown Ramada Inn in Phoenix. Upon retirement, she moved to Payson, where they lived for 15 years. She was involved with the Southern Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She moved to Show Low two years ago. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts, photography and was a gardener.
Survivors include three brothers, Mac Gallagher of Pottsboro, Texas, Clyde Gallagher of Plainsview, Texas, and Ivy Gallagher of Englewood, Fla.; and three granddaughters, Dawn Williams of Show Low, Pamela Williams of Phoenix and Megan Gallagher of Tucson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams, 37 years ago, and three sons, Eugene, Larry and Gary.
