Chester Arthur Wiley, 72, of Payson, died Feb. 7, 2001. He was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Highland Park, Mich. and had lived in Arizona for the past seven years.
Mr. Wiley was employed as a manufacturing representative for more than 40 years, and more recently worked as a gate guard for Foxworth Galbraith. He was a Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen, of Payson; his mother, Muriel Wiley of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Teresa and her husband, Danny Coelho, of Fullerton, Calif., and Karen and her husband, Jerry Zumbro, of Virginia Beach, Va.; four sons, Chester and his wife, Kelly Wiley, of Angleton, Texas, Rick and his wife, Pam Wiley, of Hood River, Ore., David and his wife, Dee Wiley, of Riverside, Calif., and Stephen and his wife, Heidi Bridges, of Escondido, Calif.; one sister, Sally and her husband, Phillip Bains, of Tacoma, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at Mt. Cross Lutheran Church.
