Joseph Wilhardt, 65, of Payson died Feb. 17, 2001. He was born March 28, 1935, in Orleans, Minn. to John and Antonia Wilhardt, where he lived until 1964 when he moved to Arizona.
Mr. Wilhardt was a business owner. He enjoyed traveling and was fond of all of Arizona.
Survivors include his companion of many years, Judy Berge; two sons, Michael and his wife, Diane Wilhardt, of Malden, Mass., and Randy and his wife, Candace Kutter, of Princeton, Minn.; one daughter, Janet Bruce of Phoenix; five sisters, Christine of Lancaster, Minn., Gertrude and her husband, Frank, of Cass Lake, Minn., Ursula, Dorothy, Monica and her husband, Gary, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Frank of Minneapolis, Minn. and Ross and his wife, Judy, of Maple Plain, Minn.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Feb. 22 at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Sunnyslope Chapel in Phoenix.
A gathering of family and friends was held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, per Mr. Wilhardt's request.
