Gerald "Bud" Farmer, 80, of Payson, Ariz. died Dec. 30, 2000 in Payson. He was born June 29, 1920 in Gallup, N.M.
Mr. Farmer was a painting contractor and a World War II Marine Veteran who served in the Pacific. He attended Mountain Bible Church and was an employee of the US Forest Service. He was a member of Payson Ranger Station, Painting Contractors of America, a Boy Scout leader and acting chaplain at Arizona Boys Ranch.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Farmer, of Payson, Ariz.; sons, John J. Farmer, of Alpine, Ariz. and Don Farmer, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughters, Sharon Parks, of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Alicia Farmer, of Dobbins, Calif.; sisters, Geraldine Fagan, of Alpine, Ariz. and Patricia Isaak, of Fairfield, Calif.; brother, James Hagen, of Christopher Creek, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 at First Southern Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
