Maxine Hagood, 77, of Payson, died at her home Dec. 15, 2000. She was born May 18, 1923, to John and Hazel Fales Tubridy in Orleans, Neb.
Mrs. Hagood graduated from Orleans High School with the class of 1941. She married John Pape in 1943 and they had one daughter, Linda, and one son, Jim. In 1953, she married William Hagood of Holdrege, Neb.
They left Nebraska in 1976 and moved to Fayetteville, Ark. In 1986 they moved to Payson.
Survivors include her husband, William Hagood, of Payson; one daughter, Linda Fish and her husband, Lloyd, of Chandler, Ariz.; one son, Jim Hagood and his wife, Carol, of Chandler, Ariz.; one sister, Donna Adrian of Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren, Kelly Fish, Jamie and Blake Hagood and Laurie Lacks and her husband, Mark, all of Chandler, Ariz.; two great-granddaughters, Lindsay Lacks of Chandler, Ariz. and Amanda Armederiz of Virginia; nieces, Pat Hixon of South Carolina and Diane Brannon and her husband, Gary, of Craig, Colo.; and nephew Dennis Borchard of Grand Junction, Colo.; aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Jean Kerr.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Star Vale Mobile Home Park in Star Valley.
