John A. (Jack) Reinhardt, 70, of Payson, died Jan. 10, 2001, in Payson. He was born on Aug. 27, 1930, in Orange, N.J.
Mr. Reinhardt was a retired 20-year Army Lt. Colonel who participated in tours in Taiwan, Germany, Puerto Rico, Korea and Vietnam as a master aviator. He was a 15-year member of the Lions Club; three-year member of the Moose Lodge, 13-year member of the Elks; founding member of the Tombstone Vigilantes; member of the Payson Pilots Association; and had a 20-year career in Real Estate. He also was a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
Survivors include his wife, Micheline Reinhardt, of Payson; three daughters, Karen Matowik of Yuma, Ariz., Kathleen Reinhardt of Phoenix and Kristine Reinhardt of New Jersey; one son, Gregory of Indiana; mother-in-law, Gabrielle Jaillet, one brother, Walter Reinhardt of New Jersey; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Greater Payson Moose Lodge in Star Valley.
Cremation will be followed by interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
