Horace Albert Brawley, 93, of Payson, died Jan. 25, 2001, in Payson. He was born Sept. 22, 1907, in Mooresville, N.C.
Mr. Brawley was an aircraft mechanic. He moved from Oklahoma to Tucson in 1942, and he was an Arizona resident for 58 years, moving from Goodyear to Payson in 1976. He also was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Payson.
Survivors include one daughter, Anita Shaddinger of Payson and Phoenix; one son, Max Brawley of Gilbert, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Frances Shilling.
Graveside services were held Jan. 27 at Greenwood Memory Lawn, Phoenix.
Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
