Marguerite Harrison


Marguerite Harrison, 83, of Payson, died, June 30, 2001, at her home in Payson. She was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Dunklin County, Mo.

Mrs. Harrison is a longtime resident of Payson. She was active in Eastern Star and was a past president of the Hopes, a member of the Payson Art League, and one of the three ladies who started the Hospital Thrift Store.

Survivors include her husband, Walter F. Harrison, of Payson; one daughter, Rosemary Goff, of Payson; three grandchildren, Jennifer Turner of Payson, Skip Shelton and his wife, Julietta, of Goodyear, Ariz. and Julie Moon and her husband, Frank, of Payson; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held July 2 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.

Services were held at theMasonic Lodge July 3.

Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Phoenix.

Donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation.

Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
