Marshall Manley

Marshall Terris Manley, 80, of Star Valley, died July 29, 2001 in Payson. He was born Aug. 17, 1920 in Phoenix. Mr. Manley was a founder of Advance Seed Company in Phoenix in 1940 with his father Terris A. Manley. He was member of the Phoenix JayCees and a life-long Grand Master Bridge Player. He retired from Maricopa Tractor Company as a Case dealer in Phoenix, Tucson and Buckeye in 1985.

Survivors include three daughters, Shellie Manley of Star Valley, Joni Manley of Tucson, and Terris Thompson of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie L. Manley, his parents, Terris and Lilli Manley, a daughter, Marilee Barba and a brother, Derrill B. Manley.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at St Thomas of the Valley Episcopal Church in Clarkdale, Ariz., 971 South Street.

Donations may be made to American Diabetic Association.

Arrangements were handled by Camelback Sunset Funeral Home in Phoenix.
