Registration for men's and women's softball leagues will be through tomorrow, June 9. Recreation and competitive divisions will be offered to both men and women as long as a minimum of four teams sign up for each division. The fee is $250 per team. Season begins June 26.
Girls Volleyball Camp
Girls who completed grades 5-8 in 2001 are invited to attend this camp from 8 a.m. to noon, June 18-21 at Payson High School's Wilson Dome. Registration ends today, June 8, at the Parks and Recreation Office. The fee is $25 per child. Space is limited to the first 50 participants. Co-sponsored by Longhorn Volleyball.
Girls Basketball Camp
Girls ages 8 - 14 are invited to attend. Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the old PHS gym June 11 - 14. The fee is $30 per child, payable at the Parks & Recreation office. Space is limited to the first 75 participants. Co-sponsored by Longhorn Basketball.
Summer Recreation Center
Youth who have completed 4th through 10th grades are invited to attend the Recreation Center at Rim Country Middle School gym this summer. The center offers basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, billiards and a variety of other activities. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 4 through July 27. No registration is required and admission is free.
Registration for Session B begins Friday and ends June 14. Registration is $15 per child, per session; or $20 if after the deadline. Class sizes are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Kid's Craft Camp:
Participants will create handmade crafts, including a T-shirt of their own. This two-week class meets at Rumsey Park Monday through Thursday for the following dates:
July 9-12 & July 16-19
9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Moms & Tots (ages 3 to 5)
10:15 a.m. to noon, Ages 10 -12
Registration is $25 per child, which includes all project materials. Enrollment is limited to 10 children per class and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball
Learn from the pros at Diamondback Baseball Camp July 9-13. Registration is $150 per child and is open to boys and girls ages 7-14. Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the Payson High School varsity baseball field.
