Robert E. Liebhart, 75, of Payson, died June 20, 2001. He was born April 4, 1926, in Sidney, Ohio to Vincent and Mary (George) Liebhart.
Mr. Liebhart retired as a supervisor from the United States Postal Service and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was a member of the Ponderosa Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille S. Dunst Liebhart, of Payson; two stepdaughters, Joyce and her husband, Larry Sauder, of Mansfield, Ohio and Linda S. and her husband, Frank Lamp, of Mansfield, Ohio; one stepdaughter-in-law, Kathy Hunger, of Michigan; six grandchildren, Shelly Riel, Frank Lamp II, Jason Lamp, Amanda Hunger, John Hunger and Rita Renee Weber; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill and his wife, Audrey Liebhart, of Marysville, Ohio and Charles and his wife, Jean Liebhart, of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Ruth Beard of Sidney, Ohio and Helen and her husband, Sam Hughes, of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mary Hunger Liebhart, and one grandson, Steven Sauder.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, with visitation one hour prior to service at Mesa Baptist Church, 2425 S. Alma School Road, Mesa.
Arrangements were handled by Falconer Funeral Home, Gilbert.
