Laughlin or Bust!

Join us for a trip to Laughlin March 26, 27 & 28. Just a few seats left! Choose between a single room for $80 or a double room for just $65 per person. Price includes transportation via deluxe motor coach, three days/two nights at the Edgewater Hotel & Casino, one buffet meal and one "fun book." Space is limited, and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your spot, stop by Parks & Rec office at 1000 W. Country Club Drive, or call 474-5242, ext. 7.

Coed Softball League

Registration for the Spring Coed Softball League will be March 5 to 16. Recreation and competitive divisions will be offered as long as a minimum of four teams sign up for each division. The fee is $200 per team, which includes a tournament. Awards will be given for the tournament only. Games begin in April.

Youth Soccer

We're now accepting late soccer registration for youth who will be ages 8 - 15 as of May 15, 2001. Late registrants will be placed on teams only if space permits. The fee is $25 per child and includes a T-shirt and a team pizza party. Games will be played in March and April, and will be held on Saturdays and some weeknights (Due to limited field space, soccer for ages 4 to 7 is held in September and October.)

5th & 6th Grade Boys & Girls Basketball Tournaments

These tournaments are open to all teams, local and out-of-town, who want to participate. Tournament date is Saturday, March 31 for both tournaments. Registration is $100 per team and is limited to the first 12 teams to sign up in both divisions. Registration deadline is Friday, March 23.

Grab a Pole

Fishing poles and mini tackle boxes are available at Parks & Rec. You must be 18 years and older to check out the fishing poles, but anglers of all ages may use them free of charge. The program is sponsored by Arizona Game and Fish.
