Now that the holiday season is a couple of months behind us, I would like to take a moment to extend a few best wishes to all of the people who work at our Payson post office.
As soon as Thanksgiving passes, it seems like the local post office becomes the favorite gathering place for everyone, or almost everyone. But despite the long lines, and regardless of how cranky the postal customers become, the postal clerks who are there to serve the public never quit smiling, never lose their senses of humor, and always have a pleasant word for everyone.
They are to be commended, and so is the Payson postmaster, because good things come from good leadership. I'm now looking forward to this year's holiday season.
