Fishermen square off at town watering hole

Anglers packed the Sportsman's Chalet Sunday for the local watering hole's second annual Fish-off.
Contestants donned life vests, picked fishing partners and climbed into canoes set up in the bar to compete for trophy plaques and braggin' rights.
The contestants used computerized fishing games to simulate the real thing, and competed in categories such as Saltwater Fishing, Lake Fishing and the Most Fish Caught.
Last year's champ, Tommy Crombie, took top fishing honors again this year by reeling in 2 pounds more than the competition.
Cindy Lou Carter won the Best Fishing Hat competition with her chapeau laced with fishing net.
And Evelyn Gallager and Ronnie Hart won the homemade apple pie contest with delicacies that will bring me back again next year.
