Maxine Phinney, 72, of Payson, died May 5, 2001, in Phoenix. She was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Altoona, Pa.
She graduated from Altoona High School and was a member of the Eastern Star and HOPES organizations of Payson.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Phinney, of Payson; one daughter, Linda Wesley of San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Mike Reinhiemer of Fallbrooke, Calif., and Al Phinney of Vista, Calif; two sisters, Maralyn Wills of Geneva, N.Y. and Nancy Emmelman of York, Pa.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15 at the Sheperd of the Pines Lutheran Church.
