Alexander Gilmour Brown, 77, of Payson, died May 14, 2001 in Payson. He was born July 19, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Mr. Brown was a heating and air conditioning engineer. He also was a member of the Payson Horseman's Association and owner of Avery's Horses in Payson.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Brown of Payson; one daughter, Deedra Jackson of Mesa; three sons, David Brown of Owens Sound, Ontario, Canada, Peter Brown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Frank Brown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; one brother, Dr. Thomas Brown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
