Q: How come the Roundup does not print the list of scholarships awarded to Payson High School graduates?

A: The Roundup does print the list of scholarships awarded to Payson High graduates. This year's list will run in Friday's edition.

Q: I heard about a year ago that Payson had budgeted to pave all dirt roads. Nothing has happened though. What's going on with that?

A: Payson has not set aside 2002 budget money to pave dirt roads, because the money is not available, said Payson Town Engineer LaRon Garrett. Paving dirt roads is a priority, but not a top priority, he said. The problem is that many dirt roads are privately owned, and it is difficult for the town to intervene. Garrett said the town will consider paving more roads if it is proposed in the future.
