Margaret "Maggie" Coyle, 90, of Denver, died Oct. 28, 2001, in Lakewood, Colo. She was born Nov, 4, 1910, in Lyons, Colo. She moved to Longmont in 1929.
She married Evert "Tim" Coyle in Estes Park, Colo. Sept. 28, 1931. They lived in Longmont until Mrs. Coyle enlisted in the US Army, Women's Army Corps on April 28, 1945. She served as a medical aide at an Army regional hospital in a surgical ward. Following her discharge in December 1945, she returned to Colorado and lived in Denver. Mrs. Coyle worked for many years as a lab technician at the Children's Hospital in Denver.
After the death of her husband in 1960, she moved to New Mexico and later to Payson, where she lived for 28 years. While living in Payson, she was active at the Payson Humane Society and the Friends of the Payson Library. She returned to Denver in 1997.
Mrs. Coyle was a member of the Catholic Church, most recently at the Gardens at St. Elizabeth in Denver. She enjoyed her family, friends and traveling.
Survivors include one brother, John Moomaw and his wife Eileen of Loveland, Colo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Mass of the Resurrection was held Nov. 2 at the Chapel at the Gardens of St. Elizabeth in Denver.
Interment was at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
