What an outstanding guest comment in the Nov. 9 issue of your paper.
Every generation should join the fight for freedom by Chad S. Connolly. A message not only to his contemporaries, but also to all Americans who read his words. Fight for what you have or you will lose it.
Being from a much older generation circa World War I it has been obvious to me for some time that an increasingly large proportion of our citizenry was becoming part of the "me" generation, excluding from their thought process any worries about what was happening to their country.
An indicative example: On Sept. 12, how many Americans had an America flag that they could display? A very small percentage of our citizenry. How sad.
