Eleanor Mary Clow, 84, of Payson, died Nov. 10, 2001 in Payson. She was born March 1, 1917 in Tottenville, N.Y.

Mrs. Clow graduated from Cornell University in 1938 and married S.A. Clow Sept. 2, 1939. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a grade-school teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Sherwood A. Clow of Payson; one daughter, Karen Lynn Slaugh of Wilmington, Del.; one son, Bruce Robert Clow of LaGrange, Ga.; one sister, Carolyn Firth of Santa Monica, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aero and Ponderosa streets.

Burial will be at Veterans National Memorial Cemetery, Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.

Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
