William Crozier, 74, of Payson, died Nov. 22, 2001, in Payson. He was born April 15, 1927, in El Paso, Texas.
Mr. Crozier moved to McNary when he was eight years of age. He was a World War II Navy veteran and then earned his BS in Education at ASC, now Northern Arizona University, in 1951. After teaching in his hometown of McNary for two years, he moved his family to California where he earned a Master's Degree from Stanford University and was a school superintendent. After living in California for 21 years, Mr. Crozier retired and moved back to Arizona. During his retirement Mr. Crozier also worked as a Park Ranger at Tonto National Monument for four years.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ann Crozier of Payson; one daughter, Deborah Crozier of Scottsdale; two sons, William D.Crozier of Scottsdale and J. Joe Crozier and his wife Abbie of Pinetop; and four grandchildren, Malaina, Seth, Katie and Cody.
Inurnment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
