Kenneth "Ken" Hatheway, 75, of Mesa, died Oct. 7, 2001. He was born to Charles and Lola Stevens Hatheway July 21, 1926 in Seattle, Washington.
Mr Hatheway was a retired machinist and served in the Merchant Marines in World War II.
Ken married Glenda B. Branam on Oct 28, 1946 in Yuma and they had three children. Ken loved to fish, hunt, and being in the mountains. He and Glenda lived in Pine for 12 years prior to moving to Mesa.
Survivors include his wife Glenda, two daughters, Sandra and her husband Gregory Cook of Temecula, Calif.; Linda and her husband Brent Winterhoff of Mesa; one son, Edward and his wife Linda Hatheway of Tucson; eight grandchildren, Shane, Chad and Brent Cook, Brian and Melissa Hatheway, Justin, Cara and Jaren Winterhoff; and one great-grandchild, Logan James Cook.
Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Mesa Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, Mesa.
