As a Committee for the Rim Country Care Fair, we wish to extend our thanks to the following individuals and organizations who were involved in making the fair a success: KMOG for providing time on the Community Forum as well as public service announcements, the Payson Roundup for its great publicity, and the Town of Payson for proclaiming the week of Oct. 22 through 27 as "Payson Humanitarian Services Recognition Week."
Our thanks to Rev. J. B. Harrington of the Church of Christ who offered the invocation and to Mayor Schum for his rousing introductory welcome to the many who attended.
The Fair would not have taken place if it were not for all the volunteer organizations who participated. Your displays, booths, and handouts were wonderful and informative. Thank you to the LDS Church who hosted the event by providing space and food. And last, but not least, thank you to the Payson High School Modern Chorus, the Grace Notes: Bell Choir of Payson United Methodist Church, and the Payson Choral Society, as well as their Directors, who provided entertainment throughout the evening.
And also to you, the public, who were willing to share your evening, dividing your time between the World Series and the Care Fair. You were the real reason for this event.
