A line truck was stolen from the Arizona Public Service yard on West Longhorn Road sometime Tuesday night.
The vehicle was noticed missing from the maintenance yard at about 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The truck and its contents are valued at more than $40,000. It was equipped with a generator, winch and tools used for working on power lines.
The Payson Police Department said the theft occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:10 a.m. Wednesday.
Anyone who has information regarding the theft of this vehicle or who saw a vehicle matching its description in the area of Payson Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning is asked to contact the police department at 474-5177.
