A late-night noise disturbance call to the Payson Police Department shortly before midnight Saturday, March 30, led to the arrest of seven juveniles (five females and two males) and four adults, under the age of 21, for illegal consumption of alcohol.
Police also arrested Christopher Simmons, 21, on charges of contributing to the delinquency of minors after it was determined it was his apartment, in the 400 block of W. Summit where the juveniles were consuming alcoholic beverages.
Kenneth Holcombe, 20, was booked into Gila County jail on felony charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Jamison F. Davis, 20, Bret L. Struthers, 19, Charles T. Williams, 20, and Stevee L. Hancock, 18, were released after being issued criminal citations to appear on charges of underage consumption.
The juveniles, ages 14 to 17, were released to their parents and their cases were referred to juvenile probation.
The 12 Saturday brought the total number of spring break arrests for underage alcohol-related offenses to 24.
