Investigators from the Payson Police Department arrested two people after a search warrant was served at their home in Tonto Creek Shores shortly after midnight, Sunday, April 7.
Officers found chemicals and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Duane Griffith, 48, and Rebecca Lowery, 27, were taken into custody on charges of possession of precursor chemicals and equipment to manufacture a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested at the residence on Andrew Drive was Mark J. McPherson, 31, of Payson, on a charge of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lt. Don Engler said officers received information from sources that led them to believe that methamphetamines were being manufactured at the residence.
The police department was assisted by officers from the Gila County Narcotics Task Force, Gila County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Public Safety.
