The Wild Brush Gallery is proud to exhibit an abundance of fine art and beautiful one-of-a-kind creations for your shopping convenience. The gallery features Payson's finest artists and a wide variety of Arizona artists. Mediums include: original paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, hand-blown glass, wood-working, home decor and many other unique gifts.
New owners Lynne and Terry Winans appreciate the opportunity to provide custom matting and framing.
In addition, The Winans are excited to enhance the gallery by carrying name-brand art supplies for Rim country artists. Items such as oils, watercolors, acrylics, brushes, drawing supplies and custom-made oak easels are just a few of the supplies on hand. Special orders are available upon request.

Scott Anderson, DDS
As Payson's first full-time dentist, Scott Anderson is a fixture in the Rim country.
Dr. Anderson arrived in Payson in 1971 to fill a void that had long existed on the local medical scene. He brought with him a DDS degree from Case Western Reserve University and two years dental experience in the United States Navy.
Since establishing his practice, Dr. Anderson has served hundreds of local patients and patients from as far away as California, Utah and Mexico.

Payson Candle Factory
The Payson Candle Factory, at the south end of the Swiss Village shops, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1999.
Owners Ron and Carol Reed opened their doors Memorial Day weekend in 1979 and have been burning the candles at both ends ever since.
Expanding five times, the candle shop has grown from 850 square feet, to four buildings devoted to candles, Christmas decor, collectibles and fine gifts; and two buildings, visible from within the gift shop, devoted to candling, crafting, production and shipping.
Folks can stop by daily to watch the candles being crafted and ask questions.
The Payson Candle Factory produces delicately carved sculptured candles, a Southwest and Christmas line of novelty candles, potpourri wax chips, oils and supplies for candle crafters.

Frank and Ellen Mulkern, eight-year residents of Payson, have operated Mulkern Photography for the past six years. Professional photographers since 1985, they specialize in fine portraiture and weddings using medium format cameras. Last year APS supported the charitable work of the Zane Grey Kiwanis, Rim Country Hospice, Mogollon Health Alliance, Mogollon Sporting Association, Payson Rotary Club, Rim Country Rotary, Payson Lioness, Payson Little League, Habitat for Humanity, Payson Rodeo Committee, Character Counts Summit, Payson Police Volunteers and the Veterans Memorial Committee.
In 2001, APS installed 559 new customer meters and completed new construction projects at an expense of $1.8 million; we readied our transmission system for future expansion and completed 35 maintenance projects in the Payson District, while maintaining an impeccable (zero accidents) employee safety record.
APS employees conducted five School Safety Programs for local fourth- and fifth-grade students and conducted electric safety programs presented to local fire departments and contractors. Those same employees provided 100 percent of the funding and awarded four college scholarships for local high school seniors.
In 2001, APS paid $2,465,283 in taxes to Gila County, $179,652 in Franchise Fees to the Town of Payson, $1.6 million in local employee salaries and over $120,000 for local supplies and services.
Energy West Arizona
Energy West Arizona is the only gas utility in the Rim country. It provides underground propane gas service and bulk propane. The company also leases tanks and provides metered tanks to people who currently live beyond Energy West's expanding underground system.
