Time Out Shop Also Benefits Locals

Editor:

In support of Carol Zebb's letter regarding the Senior Center Thrift Store, and in response to Laurie Thomas of Goodwill, the local thrift stores in the Rim country each support specific causes. We believe the customers are very aware of this.

The Time Out Thrift Shop is a fund-raising arm of the local shelter for victims of domestic violence, made available to everyone in the area at no charge.

Some of these programs include life skills, other educational groups such as parenting, two Parents' Anonymous groups, programs for children and teens, as well as room and board for victims of domestic violence and their children the little victims.

Over 60 volunteers work very hard each week to provide a clean, neat and well-stocked thrift shop for Time Out, Inc. and for the community.
