Now that the yard sale season is upon us, I would like to ask people to please not staple or tack their yard sale signs to the power poles. My father is a lineman for Arizona Public Service and he has to climb those poles. All of the build up of tacks, staples and nails can make it very difficult for a lineman to climb the poles.
Sometimes, if the lineman's belt slips, or they have an accident and slide down the pole, they could get hurt even worse because of all the foreign objects in the pole.
So please, when you're having a yard sale, put your sign on a post or a cardboard box.
Happy yard saleing!
