Climith Rogers


Climith (Bill) Wilson Rogers, 83, of Payson, died Aug. 14, 2002. He was born Jan. 17, 1919, in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Mr. Rogers was a resident of Payson for more than 25 years. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a prisoner of war in the Philippines during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Ella Mae Collins and Evelyn Rogers, both of Phoenix; two sons, Ralph Rogers of Phoenix, and George Rogers of Strawberry; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Worth Rogers.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Strawberry Chapel on Fossil Creek in Strawberry.
