Dr. Alan Hallman and Dr. Nicole Demetre along with the staff at Star Valley Veterinary Clinic welcome their new veterinary associate, Dr. Danielle Hettler.
Dr. Hettler is originally from Colorado and is new to Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Colorado State University in 1996.
She then worked for the Centers for Disease Control in the Arbovirus division, helping to test and develop the West Nile virus vaccine in horses, and other infectious diseases in humans.
She went on to receive her doctor of veterinary medicine degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, graduating in May of 2002.
Her hobbies include dressage, western and trail riding, fly fishing, camping and other outdoor activities.
Her professional interests include emergency medicine and surgery as well as exotic medicine and behavior with a special interest in ultrasound.
