Kathleen Mae (Campbell) Hurlburt, 83, died Dec. 1, 2002. She was born July 4, 1919 in Alton, Ill.
Formerly of Nashville, Ind., Mrs. Hurlburt was the owner of the Brown County Peddler gift shops. She married Clarence Hurlburt in 1941.
Retiring in 1991, Mrs. Hurlburt moved to Naples, Fla., where she resided until moving to Payson. She had resided with her daughter, Meg Turlukis of Payson, for the past five years.
She was a member of the Unity Church of Naples and attended Sacred Presence New Thought Church in Payson. She also did volunteer work at Payson Regional Medical Center for the Mogollon Health Alliance.
Survivors include four daughters, Kathy Hession of Bentonville, Ark., Beth Knapp of Bloomington, Ind., Meg Turlukis of Payson, and Hallie Overman of Payson; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held Tuesday, Dec. 3.
The family will hold a memorial service from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at their home at 1105 N. Easy St. in Payson.
