Where The Bull Elk Roam

The magnificent bull elk have been seen many evenings at Bob and Sam Conklin’s home in C-Canyon. Aren’t we very fortunate to be able to look outside and see such a sight? I guess that’s just one of the reasons most of us live here in Christopher Creek.

As you look at these big guys, you wonder what it would be like if they were to all line up. Maybe this year Santa will be using them to pull his sleigh instead of reindeer.

Maybe this year, Lucky 13 will be pulling Santa’s sleigh instead of Rudolf.

Don’t forget tonight is the Christmas potluck at Christopher Creek Bible Fellowship Church. It starts at 6 p.m., and there will be lots of good food and fun for all ages. So, if you want to get in the spirit of the holidays stop by and make some new friends, and join in the Christmas music. You do not have to be a member of the church, just come by and enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Saturday night is the first anniversary of the Landmark. There will be entertainment by Top Cats, a blues band from the Valley. Stop in and wish the Mystroms continued success.

Creekside’s Christmas potluck will be Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. for all the residents to get together and celebrate the holidays.

For the first time in almost 30 years, Creekside Restaurant will be closed on Christmas day for employees to enjoy, and a well deserved day off for Olive.
