Our daughter, Ali, is teaching English to 41 students in a little town outside of Nagano, Japan. Although she denies being homesick, we anticipate that the holidays may be a little rough so far from family. She takes absolute delight in her students.
She told us that they have never seen a Christmas card, as that is not a part of their culture.
Could you find a place in your heart to send her a card to share with her students? Any happy card with trees, Santas, peace doves, or cute pictures would be perfect, as their religion differs from our Christian nativity.
