Regarding the recent President's State of the Union Address, I thought President Bush did an extremely good job, was very professional, personable, convincing and persuasive and made many good points, most of which I (and probably most of the country) support.
I wonder if, in future State of the Union Addresses, someday a President will have the courage to break with tradition and ask that the audience hold their applause until the end of the speech. Think about it ... wouldn't that be a lot nicer to listen to? And do away with so many annoying interruptions. Just food for thought.
