Edward Arnold "Jack" Meador, 86, of Payson, died, Feb. 17, 2002. He was born one of 11 children July 13, 1915 in Joplin, Texas and had lived in Arizona since 1929.
Mr. Meador was retired from the construction business, as a cement mason.
Survivors include one son, Jack E. Meador of Aztec, N.M.; two daughters, Maxine Gosney of Simi Valley, Calif. and Carolyn Piturro of Fullerton, Calif; one brother, Howard Meador of San Diego, Calif; three sisters, Opal Boundey of Tucson, Betty Wasson of Tempe and Jewel Morby of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, with services following at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
