Harry R. Carrillo, 81, of Payson, died, Feb. 12, 2002 in Mesa. He was born Dec. 19, 1920 in San Diego, Calif.
Harry was a produce manager in several supermarkets in the San Diego area.
He loved to play the organ, which has been donated to the Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church. Harry also donated the flagpole and flag, in memorial of the firemen and police officers who gave their lives in the Sept. 11 tragedy.
Survivors include his companion of 24 years, Corey Van Rhyn of Payson; one sister, Carmen Castaneda of San Diego; and one brother, Gilberto of Riverside, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Vincente, Alex, Blackie and Alfonso.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church. His cremated remains will be scattered in his hometown in Mexico.
