After Five Years, Then What?

Editor:

There was an article in the Payson Roundup dated March 16, 2001 entitled "Residents to protest property valuations."

Two Strawberry residents Al Vancel and Gerald Eisele went to protest their property valuations and they were stonewalled by the county assessors office.

The cards for property valuation began arriving to property owners last week.

The article stated that the county plans to double valuations in northern Gila County over the next five years. After five years, then what? That is if you are able to survive. Also, with the vote coming up to make Globe and Miami one, is this another increase?
