Charles W. Robinson


Charles W. Robinson, 82, died Feb. 19, 2002, in Payson. He was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Sharpsburg, Tenn.

Mr. Robinson served as a radio operator for the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Arizona in 1971, where he took up tennis and became a real estate appraiser.

He is survived by his wife, Joan D. Robinson of Payson; daughter, Ginny Morkunas of Phoenix; sister, Dolores Whitton of Mt. Sterling, Tenn; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Robinson Jr.

Services were private.
