Aurelia Ray, 100, of Payson, died Jan. 1, 2002, in Payson. She was born Jan. 30, 1901, in Paris, Texas.
Mrs. Ray was a homemaker.
Survivors include five daughters, Kathyrn Davis of Payson, Betty Tarrant of Roscoe, Texas, Maudie Hollis of Crystal Beach, Texas, Mina McCoy of Philomath, Ore. and Aurelia Bledsoe of Abilene Texas; two sons, Gene Bennett of Athens, Texas and Key Bennett of Canyon Lake, Texas; one half-sister, Irene Tompson of Louisana; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Willis J. Ray, one sister, Mina Thomas, and one half-sister, Lorene Walker.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan 5 at First Southern Baptist Church, 302 S. Ash.
Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
