The Payson Police Department is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who vandalized the Rim Country Middle School's administrative offices over the weekend.
Detective Matt VanCamp spent most of the day Monday photographing and compiling evidence at the school.
"There is thousands of dollars in damage," VanCamp said.
Burglars forced entry into the building and then damaged several office doors which were locked. They also set off a fire extinguisher, spraying its contents in the offices of the school principal, vice-principal and secretary.
The school's safe was also broken into and several items were stolen from the office.
VanCamp said the case remains under investigation and an exact dollar amount of the damages and theft would not be available until school reopened Tuesday.
