Updates on the Payson PCE (perchloroethylene a dry cleaning solvent) contamination are planned for next week.
The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and the Payson Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund Sites Community Advisory Board have scheduled a public meeting on the contamination from an old dry cleaning business at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the Payson Police Department conference room, 303 N. Beeline Highway.
Following some general business, a presentation and update are planned on: Payson PCE final remedial investigation report; Payson PCE feasibility study report; Payson PCE upcoming work; and Tonto and Cherry recent activities and sampling results.
