More than 30 members of the Payson Men's Golf Association traveled May 5 to Prescott where they competed in a three-way meet against Beaver Creek and host Prescott Country Club.
In the low-gross scoring, Troy Neal finished as top gun in the first flight with a 79. Mark Revelle (86) won the second flight and Don Nicholas (96) the third.
In low-net scoring, Mike McKee outdueled Frank Szakal for first-flight laurels. McKee finished at 73 and Szakal carded a 74.
With tallies of 73 and 74, John Peel and Larry Baker were first and second in the second flight.
Roland Kruse's 71 was good enough for the third-flight gold; Jack Gibbs was the runner-up with a 74.
The PMGA returns to action tomorrow (Wednesday) in an interclub match against Verde Santa Fe.
June 19, the association is scheduled to participate in a "Select Drive Four Scores" formatted tournament at Payson Golf Course.
